Effective Immediately-Criminal Court

All detainees will be arraigned via video as usual. Attorneys representing incarcerated individuals will be allowed to call in for the hearing. 
All new court dates for appearances will take place after May 19th, 2020.
Cases set for the week of March 16th and after will be postponed. Everyone set for court during this time shall call the Court at (501)791-8559 before the court date to be informed of their new court dates.
All in-person probation reporting will be suspended until May 18th, 2020. Probationers are encouraged to call in to report. After May 18th, 2020, probation reporting will resume as usual.
Cases set for plea and arraignment during this period of time can be re-scheduled by calling the Court.
Any attorney that requests a court date during this time shall contact the Court.

The Court will do as much as possible to maintain operation by phone and video when available.

This policy may be subject to change should the offices of the City of North Little Rock close.

As always, if any person is ill they should call the Court to get a new appearance date.

Traffic Division - Unsupervised Probation Program

The Second Division District Court of North Little Rock has unsupervised probation programs for adults and juveniles. Most moving violation are eligible for these programs, if specific requirements are met. Certain non-moving violations may also be referred to the Court Clerks office to determine if the offense may be adjudicated prior to the plea and arraignment date. Certain offenses require a court appearance only. This court will suspend the driver's license of any defendant who has failed to answer a traffic summons duly served upon him or her.
