NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (March 31, 2020) - The Old Mill is CLOSED. Unfortunately we had to make this decision during its peak blooming season.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (March 30, 2020 - The outdoor basketball courts in city parks, will be closed and the goals removed. The Old Mill and Burns Park Dog Park are still open -- keep these two open by practicing social distancing. The golf course is open with modifications upon check-in and cart usage. The tennis center is open with modification upon check-in.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (March 25, 2020) - The club house rentals are limited to a max of attendance of 10 people. All restroom in city parks are closed.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (March 14, 2020) - The Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum is now closed until March 30, 2020.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (March 13, 2020) - The City of North Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department is closing all community centers, adult fitness centers effective March 12, 2020 at 8:00 pm. The Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum, Burns Park Golf Course, and Burns Park Tennis Center will be OPEN. The facilities will remain closed until at least March 30. We are constantly evaluating the situation.  This is to curtail the potential spread of COVID-19 virus. Community centers will be open for rental functions only. The William F Laman Public Library (Main Branch and Argenta Branch), and the Hays Senior Citizens Center will also be closed effective this evening March 12th ar 8:00 p.m.Mayor Smith said, “Our concern is for the safety, security, and health of our citizens.  We are taking our lead from the Arkansas Department of Health.”

The police department will have additional police officers on patrol for an increased police presence.

All other city departments will remain open as usual.

If you have rented a room at one of our community centers or club houses - they are still OPEN for your rental.
